How to start off your year

Every year when the clock strikes midnight we pretend we’re ready to start the new year fresh, like everything that had happened to us in the past was erased with a big sponge and we get to start over. However, even if we love to tell ourselves that this is the case, we don’t do anything to make changes in our life. So here are 5 tips for your new year:

1.Set achievable goals— it is better to set realistic goals for the new year instead of hard ones that will only frustrate you when you won’t be capable of crossing them off your list.

2.Try to see the good part in every bad situation— as long as you have a positive attitude towards your life, things won’t hurt you as bad and you will be able to find solutions to your problems easily.

3.Do all your work in time— stop procrastinating! If you let all your assignments aside for too long you will get overwhelmed and tired, which will only make you feel bad about yourself.

4.Go outside more— I know, going outside might not seem such a pleasant activity when it rains or is foggy, but you should spend more time outside when it’s a good day. This will help improve your mood and help you relax.

5.Read more books which you like— sometimes school work is overwhelming and all the recommended books are boring. This usually makes you feel like you don’t want to read at all, so you must find time for the books you would like to read, not only the ones you are required to.

I hope that you found these tips interesting and that they will help you. We wish you a very productive new year, full of achievements in every single area of your life!
