Studying in the USA: is it that hard?

Studying in the US: is it that hard? It depends on who you’re asking.

For years, the US has been presented to us as this country where it’s difficult to get into and very hard to live in, which is not exactly the reality.

Going to college in the US takes a lot of courage and hard work, but with determination, nothing is impossible. There are a few steps that you need to follow:

1.Do your research.

This step is the foundation in your journey to going to college in the US or anywhere in the world.

2.Make a list of colleges that caught your attention.

On a piece of paper, start writing the names of 10 to 20 colleges you like very much.

3.Create a spreadsheet for each of these colleges.

On a piece of paper, draw a table where you will fill in all the information on admission, location, academics, financial aspects, and personal notes (you can search on the internet for an example of a spreadsheet).

4.Make an account on CommonApp so you can start applying to the colleges you’ve selected.

There you will find all the additional information you may need.

5.Start preparing & take the exams & tests you are required to take.

Online materials can be helpful.

6.Write essays, ask for recommendation letters & complete the application.

7.Pay the fee & send the application.

I don’t find it hard. It needs a lot of sacrifices, determination, and hard work. But it’s not that hard.
