Nowadays, people tend to choose a city lifestyle, considering it’s the best option to start a family regarding academic and professional. But is it? Going back in the '90s maybe or earlier, you can see joy and excitement almost everywhere. Just imagine: the streets are full of kids crossing your way, running and playing among their parents or with some strangers that became their friends that day, compared to the world that we live in now, more empty day by day. But in some places, that joy to wake up and go on a camp trip with your friends or run freely on the field while the wind tries to stop you it’s still present, we’re talking about the country environment. The nature lifestyle that many people avoid, but perhaps if it was so desired, it would no longer exist, the lifestyle that isn't controlled by a screen.
The city may have its advantages, but it also has the biggest drawback that has ever existed for a young generation: technology. You can now see kids playing computer games, rather than trying to socialize in the real world. They are creating a world just for themselves behind the internet, making friends whose face or real name don’t even know. A world where 10 minutes without your phone or a road trip with your family in a place where the signal may lose it’s a disaster and may seem the end of the world. The once-existent social morals have been replaced by a tiny little device that now controls teenagers and their followers. It’s not like everything about technology is appalling, but the problem is that nowadays this environment takes over more and more day by day in excess, without even realizing it. The problem is that we don’t use the technology as we should.
Also, as a result of the pandemic, many children's lives, which might have been spent playing with their friends all day, have now moved online. But, unlike the others, they miss the old times and this environment that for some is crucial to living, for them is a nightmare, sitting in the house all day, at a desk, thinking about the time they once had and waiting, while for some it’s some kind of a relief because now they can do every day what they most desire, without any critics. But who says that’s all you can do?
