Why do sad dog movies break our hearts?

The best movies are the ones that make you drop a tear. A complete movie has action, drama, mystery, love, and heartbreak. A complete movie has you standing at the edge of your seat, with a box of tissues next to you.

A dog is your best friend, your companion, your confidant. If you ever had a dog, you understand that he/she will always have a special place in your heart.

The movies featuring dogs are always heartbreaking. They show you the dog’s journey, from puppy to the end of his life. They show how the owners have a special place in their hearts for the dog. The feelings are rushing and you start going from being happy to crying softly and then to the ‘ugly-cry phase’.

Pets are often the most important thing for both a child and an adult. They save the owner’s childhood innocence for a little while longer. The dog feels your feelings. His eyes tell you how wise he is, the innocence he wants to keep and the warmth and love he feels towards you. A dog is a silent companion, advisor, consultant. He is the best listener you’ll ever find.

That is why dog movies are always heartbreaking. Movies tell a story. Dog movies tell a story of innocence, pure love, and friendship for life. Losing your dog is losing your best friend, your whole world, your everything. Those movies know who to touch that sensible cord and bring back those memories.

To end, some of the best dog movies that will make you cry: A Dog’s purpose (2017), The Art of Racing in the Rain (2019), Hachiko: A Dog’s Story (2009), Marley & Me (2008). Remember is all about love and friendship.
